Privacy Policy
How we handle the information you share with us through this website.
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Independence Inc. of Central Florida (“we,” “us,” or “Independence Inc.”) handles information collected through https://myiicf.com. It applies to this website only.
It is not our Notice of Privacy Practices. Protected health information created or received in the course of providing services is governed by that separate notice, by HIPAA, and by our agreements with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Florida Community Care, and other payers. Ask us for a copy of the Notice of Privacy Practices and we will provide one.
Information you give us
We collect what you type into our forms. Nothing on this site asks for a Social Security number, a Medicaid identification number, or payment details, and you should not enter them.
- Contact form: your name, email address, and your message.
- Request services form: first and last name, phone number, email address, your city or area, your relationship to the person seeking support, which services you are asking about, whether the request is urgent, and anything you choose to write in the message field.
- Careers form: your full name, phone number, email address, earliest start date, current employment status, a short description of your experience, and your confirmation that you meet the basic requirements for the role.
Some of what you tell us may describe a disability or a health situation. We treat that as sensitive and limit who sees it to the people who need it to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
This site runs no advertising pixels, no analytics scripts, and no third-party tracking. We do not use cookies to profile you or follow you to other sites. Web fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not report your visit to anyone else.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP address, browser type, the page requested, and a timestamp. Those logs exist to keep the site running and secure.
The translate button
The translate button in the corner of the page uses Google Translate. Nothing from Google loads until you actually choose a language. If you never use it, no request is made and no cookie is set, which is why the paragraph above stays true for most visitors.
When you do choose a language, your browser loads Google’s translation code and sends it the text of the page so it can be translated. Google handles that under its own privacy policy, not ours. One cookie is stored to remember your choice between pages. Choosing English again clears it.
Machine translation is not perfect and is not a substitute for talking to a person. Our staff speak English. If anything here is unclear, call us and bring someone who can interpret for you, and we will work with them.
How we use your information
- To answer your question or return your call.
- To determine whether we can serve you, and to begin intake if you ask us to.
- To coordinate and deliver services you enroll in.
- To review and respond to job applications.
- To meet documentation, licensure, and reporting obligations that apply to a Florida disability services provider.
We do not use what you submit for marketing to you unless you ask us to add you to something.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We never have.
- Service providers. Form submissions are delivered through Microsoft services, including Power Automate and Microsoft 365 email. Microsoft processes that data on our behalf under its own commercial terms.
- Payers and oversight agencies. If you become a client, we share what is required with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Florida Community Care, Medicaid, your support coordinator, and others involved in authorizing or overseeing your services.
- When the law requires it. That includes valid legal process and Florida’s mandatory reporting laws covering suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or a threat to someone’s safety.
Please do not send records through this website
Email and web forms are not a secure channel. Do not send medical records, evaluations, support plans, or copies of identification through this site. When we need documents from you, we will tell you a secure way to send them.
We protect what you submit with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to services are kept only as long as we need them to follow up, then deleted. Job applications are retained for the period required by federal and Florida employment recordkeeping rules. Client records are retained for the period required by our Medicaid provider agreements and Florida law, which is longer.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email intake@myiicf.com or call (863) 688-4343. We will respond as quickly as we can.
Some records we are required to keep. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you why.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site. A parent or legal guardian may of course contact us about services for a family member of any age. If you believe a child has submitted information here, contact us and we will remove it.
Other websites
This site links out to resources we think are useful, including the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Florida Community Care, and Microsoft-hosted forms. Once you follow a link, that organization’s privacy policy applies, not ours. The employee intranet is a separate Microsoft system with its own terms.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
